We have (2) large warehouses in Riyadh, and these warehouses are fully equipped with the HVAC system and are licensed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health, the Food and Drug Authority and the Riyadh Municipality.

Conditions that we took into account in designing our drugstores:
The World Health Organization sets many conditions and specifications for places to store medicines. The Ministry of Health may add some conditions, which it sets according to the conditions and standards of the country. Below is an illustrative picture of the conditions and specifications that must be met in stores.

Health conditions that must be met in stores.
1- The property to be licensed must be a separate place from any private residence or a place designated for another industry, and it should not be a garage or basement.

2- The area of ​​the store must be wide enough, not less than 500 meters on one or two levels, and there must be a sandbox and an upper roof.

3- The store’s floor level must be at the same level as the public road, and a drainage network must be constructed before the entrance, provided that it does not hinder entry and exit.

4- The walls of the store must be completely covered with washable materials, in order to prevent the growth of bacteria and cover the floor with a flammable material.

5- There must be a fire extinguisher.
6- The presence of non-wooden shelves or pallets.

7- The presence of a permanent source of electric current.

8- The presence of adequate ventilation in the store, there are many specifications that must be met in the store rooms, which is that the temperature should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius, and the humidity must be at 60 degrees Celsius, taking care to record the readings on a regular basis.

9- Make a clear and fixed sign in the name of the store.

10- The presence of a cooling room and an adequate number of refrigerators, to store medicines.

12- Making a narrow wire over the ventilation holes.

13-You must know the drugs, according to the operating number and expiry date.

14- Allocating a separate place for expired medicines.
15- Using computer programs to save documents and invoices for incoming and outgoing medicines.

16- Paying fees and licenses upon receiving the license, as approved by the Ministry of Health.

Conditions of work in stores
1- Medicines cannot be sold or stored except through distribution companies or stores licensed by the Ministry of Health

2- When obtaining medicines, warehouses and distribution companies must follow the following:

_ Dealing with pharmaceutical companies licensed and registered by the Ministry of Health

_ Dealing with drug importers registered in the records of the Ministry of Health, and informing the pharmacist inspection of distribution contracts from. The inspection is also entitled to obtain a copy of these contracts

_ Sale or purchase of cosmetics and medicines according to invoices to be registered in the incoming and outgoing records, which are kept and installed on the computer and guarantee

A- Name and type of medicine.

B- The date of issuance of the invoice.

C- The name of the supplying company and the name of the receiving company.

D- The barcode or operation number.

E- These data are kept for a period of five years.

3- Selling and distributing medicines within the directorate, from which the license was issued.

4- When wanting to expand the scope of distribution, a license must be made.

5- Granting discounts and facilities, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and after its approval of the percentage, type of discount and class of medicine, to which the discount is applicable.

6- Medicines cannot be handled or disposed of without a medical ticket and under the supervision of a pharmacist.

7- The Central Administration of Medical Affairs determines the types of medicinal groups that can be freely circulated.

8- Presence of fraudulent, expired, or non-contracted medicines to display the store is considered a violation and subject to legal issue.
